We are passionate about working with only the finest brands and we are committed to working within our local community to make a difference.
With over 20 years experience in this amazing industry, I can honestly say I still love my job.
I feel extremely proud to have clients return to me from 10 years ago having moved back to the Lake District. It really is lovely to see so many familiar faces here at Hidden Beauty and of course to welcome new clients.
I enjoy all aspects of beauty but particularly have a passion for skincare and enjoy ENVIRON Facials and learning product knowledge so my clients have the very best home care regime.
My personal obsession is waxing, from a simple eyebrow wax to intimate waxing, a wax makes you feel good. Intimate waxing is one of our most popular treatments because we use top quality waxes, clients are pleased with results and they trust me!
I continue to develop my skills with ongoing training with all our brands and treatments and thoroughly enjoy offering the best customer service and advice that I can. This is both rewarding for myself and my clients.
I look forward to seeing you soon at our beautiful salon and as always if there is anything we can do to improve your experience at Hidden Beauty we will, just ask.
I trained as a therapist at Kendal college and I completed my beauty therapy training in 2004, which is when I started working at a local spa. During that time I had the opportunity to develop my massage techniques and facial work using many different product brands.
I then went on to work in a salon where I found my passion for nails (especially with glitter) and brows I love how a simple tint and shape can make such a big difference.
I also really enjoy spray tanning since we started using the Vita Liberata tan it gives you such a lovely even colour and I would recommend it to everyone.
I am proud to provide my clients with the best beauty treatments to meet their professional and personal needs.
Back in 2008 I started my journey in Holistic Therapies at Kendal College. After graduating, I went on to further my knowledge in completing a Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care in Holistic Therapies and my BSc in Integrated Therapies in Practice. During this time, I was working in a clinical setting; working with cancer and non-cancer related lymphedema patients. After 11years of working in a clinical environment, I then wanted to return to the beauty industry to continue to evolve and learn more skills to enhance my work.
I love the variety this industry gives you, you can go from performing a facial to then giving someone a manicure or a pedicure. My favourite aspect of my work is massage, I love helping someone unwind after a busy day or using deep tissue work to help ease aching muscles.
I plan to continue to my professional development in the beauty industry to ensure the clients I treat, have the best care whilst they are in the salon.
